About Chanakya University

Chanakya University is one of the best private universities which is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. The university has been recognised by UGC and also been approved by AICTE, New Delhi. With a strong commitment to building a leading knowledge movement, The university is a global learning destination where students can rise higher with ideas and succeed throughout time with rich understanding (jñāna), an unwavering will (ichhā), and meaningful action (kriyā). The Chanakya University courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate, postgraduate as well as doctoral levels. More than 50 courses are offered to interested candidates in the stream of science, arts, commerce, engineering, management and more. All these courses are offered in the regular, offline mode to the candidates. 

Chanakya University admissions are done both based on merit as well as performance in the entrance exams. Various entrance exams are accepted by the university for admission such as CUET UG, CUPP, Karataka PGECET, CAT and more for admission to the various courses. The Chanakya University campus is spread over an area of 116 acres and offers various facilities to the candidates such as separate hostels for men and women, a gym, a library, wi-fi connectivity, a health centre, IT infrastructure, bank facilities, and many more. The university has collaborated with several other universities worldwide for research projects, conferences, and publications. The university also includes a separate placement cell for all tasks associated with placement. With the assistance of the participating recruiters, the Chanakya University placement cell arranges placement drives every year to allow students to start their jobs before they even finish their degrees. Pre-placement interviews, webinars, seminars, training sessions, and other events are frequently held at the college. Chanakya University admission to various courses is done on the basis of entrance exams. Chanakya University conducts its own entrance test CUPP (Chanakya University Pravesh Pareeksha) followed by a personal interview to shortlist candidates for admission. Chanakya University Admission Process 2024

The Chanakya University admission process follows the procedures mentioned below for all courses except MBA admission which is done on the basis of KMAT, CAT, or Karnataka PGCET.

Chanakya University Admission Process for CUPP

  • Candidates who fulfill the required Chanakya University eligibility criteria will have to apply for admission.
  • Registered candidates will have to appear for the CUPP entrance exam conducted by the university.
  • Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will have to appear for the personal interview round.
  • The final selection for admission will be done on the basis of entrance test scores + personal interviews.
  • Admission offers will be sent to candidates selected for Chanakya University admission.
  • Candidates will have to pay the first-year and admission fees to complete their admission.

Chanakya University Admission Process for CUET UG

  • Candidates will have to apply for the CUET UG exam from the official website.
  • Candidates will have to appear for the exam and obtain the minimum qualifying marks.
  • After the exam, the cutoff and results will be released.
  • Based on the scores obtained by candidates in CUET UG, counseling will be conducted by Chanakya University separately.
  • After the result declaration, Chanakya University will release its merit list.
  • Qualified candidates will have to register again and participate in the counseling process through which seats will be allotted for admission.
  • Candidates will have to visit the campus and submit first-year fees to confirm their admission.
